The conference organizers acknowledge that education plays a crucial role in the advancement of society. As such, we invite submissions from researchers, academics, institutions, and individuals focusing on the following sub-themes, among others:

Invitation for Abstracts
The organizers invite researchers, educators, policymakers, and practitioners to submit proposed abstracts for the conference. 
Submissions should align with the conference’s mission to promote transformational teaching, learning, research, and policy advocacy and reforms. We seek contributions that highlight the power of education to spark significant social and personal development, especially in disadvantaged and marginalized communities.

Also, proposals accepted for presentation, may be considered for publication in the conference proceedings or the maiden edition of the Journal of Transformative Education and Development (JoTED).

Abstract Submission

Guidelines:

  • The abstract should be 300-word limit.

  • Font: Times New Roman Size: 12 pt, Line spacing: Single

  • Deadline for submission: August 20, 2024

Instructions for Submission:

  • Fill out the Presenter Information section.

  • Select the appropriate Presentation Format.

  • Paste your abstract in the Abstract Body section.

  • Save the document with your name and abstract title (e.g., LastName_AbstractTitle.docx).

  • Email the completed form to administrator@joted.dace.edu.gh.

Important Notes:​​

The abstract should be complete and include:

  • One or two introductory statements providing background information, statement of the purpose or problem, and/or significance/rationale for the study.

  • Information on methods/procedures/data analysis in sufficient detail.

  • Adequate description of results and/or main findings.

  • Conclusions and implications

Also, you should consider:

  • Is the abstract well written (proper grammar, free from spelling errors, formatted properly)?

  • Is the methodology appropriate? Are obvious design/methodological flaws present? Are methods of data analysis appropriate?

  • Is the abstract of an appropriate topic for this conference?​​

  • Incomplete forms will not be considered.

  • You will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission.
