Accra College of Education on Monday, April 27, 2026 hosted a high-level delegation from Beijing Normal University for the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deepen international collaboration in teacher education.
A key outcome of the visit was the establishment of the China-Africa Teacher Education Center (CATEC) West Africa Branch at Accra College of Education, positioning the College as a regional hub for teacher education innovation, research, professional exchange, and capacity development. The partnership marks a significant step in strengthening Africa-China cooperation in education and advancing excellence in teacher preparation across West Africa.
